Companionship Calls

Dedicated Home Care Support

We recognise that your loved one needs quality time with other people to ensure that they feel like a part of their community. We can arrange for loved ones to be taken out or supported in their homes while their carer goes out.

Companionship Calls

Being a carer for a loved one, neighbour or friend can be very demanding and can end up with you feeling isolated and often frustrated. We are able to offer the reassurance that someone can be with your loved one while you take some very important time for yourself.

During companionship calls, we are able to build up a good bond with you, your loved one and your families, and will be able to offer the help and support that may be needed. Carers often become someone that the family relies on and in many cases the only person, other than medical and social professionals, that some individuals see.

Companionship calls can be tailored to meet your needs and will be at times that suit you. From one hour to twenty-four hours, we are able to put in a Person-Centred Support Plan to meet your loved ones needs while you are out.

Companionship calls are also available for those living alone that would like to have some company. This could be to have a cup of tea, go out for lunch or simply to run an errand, such as shopping or attending an appointment. Our staff will stay with you and take you wherever you need to go.
